The United Nations has called for more awareness campaigns on attacks on foreign nationals as South Africa experiences what it calls repeated incidents of xenophobia.
The global body has urged the South African government to accelerate the enactment of legislation that will tackle hate crimes in the country. It says the country should also formulate future policies on migrants that conform to international standards.
We as Metro FM say no to xenophobia. We are all Africans and ubuntu has no boundaries. Join the movement and speak up against xenophobia by using our hashtag #WeAreOne
