Line-Up Changes

By Sibongile Mtyali – METRO FM Station Manager

Metro FM always strives to cater to the demanding and ever-changing needs of our highly-valued listener.

We find ourselves in a position of impact and change and are often expected to keep evolving in order to keep up with the lifestyles of South Africans and indeed the world at large. We have recently undergone changes that speak to the versatile nature of radio and the media industry. “If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living”. Gail Sheehy

The station is proud to confirm the changes that have taken place regarding the Metro FM Line-up, which see some of our radio personalities moving around and making room for new talent on air.

The afternoon drive show is now being presented by Mo Flava and LKG, the duo that did well presenting The Morning Fix between 8am and 10am, Monday to Friday.  We are looking forward to The Drive With Mo Flava & Lerato, as the new show is called and hoping it adds more shine to the careers of these two talented presenters and indeed adds more shine to the Metro FM brand and its promise to the listeners.

The vacant slot has now been taken over by prominent stars that we expect will bring more flavour to our weekdays.

Renowned personality and artist Somizi Mhlongo, well known celeb and actress Khanyi Mbau and musician Ntombi Ngcobo are the new hosts of Whose Show Is It Anyway, a two hour dose of fun and entertainment with three spoons of laughter, airing Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 10:00.

The rest of the shows at Metro FM remain as is and changes can only be effected when need arises. Metro FM, WeAreNotDone.
