METRO FM Celebrates the Legend
The SABC and METRO FM celebrate Nelson Mandela International Day on the 18 of July, Nelson Mandela International Day was launched in recognition of Madiba’s birthday on the 18th of July 2009 through unanimous decision of the UN General Assembly.
The SABC through the SABC Foundation will be commemorating Nelson Mandela International Day in partnership with Bikers for Mandela, an initiative that will see bikers, celebrities and corporate partners Don Helmets take part in the seven annual Bikers for Mandela Day campaign,(14-18 July 2016) from Johannesburg and will end in Mozambique.
