Terms and Conditions: DirectAxis & MetroFM 15 songs in 15 seconds competition
- This promotional competition is conducted by DirectAxis, a business unit of FirstRand Bank Limited (‘the promoter’)

- By participating in the competition, you agree and accept to be bound by the competition rules contained herein.
- The promoter will start promoting entry into the competition from 11 November to 19 November 2021
- The competition will take place daily on MetroFM from 15 November 2021 to 19 November 2021.
- To win, two MetroFM listeners per day will need to compete with each other, live on air, to identify a set of sped-up songs that will be played. The listener who guesses the most correct songs each day will win. A maximum of one prize per winner is allowed.
- In the event of a tie, the listeners will compete in a sudden death competition where the MetroFM dj asks them a question related to the DirectAxis brand. If the listener knows the answer they must shout out their name. The first listener to shout out their name gets the opportunity to answer the question. If they answer correctly, they will be the prize winner. If they do not answer the question correctly, the second listener gets the opportunity to answer the same question. If the second listener answers correctly, they will become the prize winner. If neither listener answers the question correctly, the MetroFM dj will move on to the next question, until there is a winner.
- The prize will be 1 of 5 x R5 000 Takealot vouchers. The prize will be issued at latest 3 weeks after the competition has ended.
- Qualifying participants are:
- Residents of the Republic of South Africa
- 18 years or older
- If the winner/s fail/s to comply with any of these competition rules or the terms of acceptance of the prizes, or any other documentation required to effect delivery of the prize within a reasonable period as determined by DirectAxis, the winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize. DirectAxis may in its discretion decide to draw a replacement winner.
- The promoters reserve the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating including without limitations, through the manipulation of code or otherwise frequently falsifying data
- The right of admission into the competition rests solely with DirectAxis, winners will be drawn at random by an independent third party
- Subject to the law, all participants will be bound by the decision of the independent third party
- DirectAxis will distribute the prizes to the winners’ email addresses to which a unique Takealot voucher code will be added. The winner can use the voucher code on the online Takealot store, to the value of R5000.
The results of the winners may also be published on the promoters’ Facebook pages, if applicable. The images that participants and winners shared to enter the competition, will not be published to the promoters’ Facebook pages or used by the promoter for any other reason.
